KVKK Privacy Notice

Information on how your personal data is processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), Law No. 6698.

This privacy notice has been prepared by Türkol Yazılım A.Ş. ("Türkol", the "Company") in its capacity as data controller, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), Law No. 6698, in order to inform you about the processing of your personal data.

2. Personal Data Processed

Türkol may collect the following personal data from website visitors, client representatives and job applicants:

  • Identity data: first name, last name
  • Contact details: e-mail address, telephone number, organisation and job title
  • Transaction security data: IP address, browser information, date/time of visit, page views
  • Request and message content: content submitted through forms or by e-mail
  • Cookie data: data collected through session cookies and analytics cookies

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

The personal data collected is processed for the following purposes, within the scope of the processing conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:

  • Responding to requests from customers and prospective customers
  • Establishment and performance of a contract
  • Improvement of products and services
  • Ensuring the performance and security of the website
  • Fulfilment of legal obligations under the applicable legislation
  • Communication activities and information notices

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to third parties, with the necessary security measures in place and within the framework of Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, only in the following cases:

  • Authorised public institutions and bodies, where legally required
  • Business partners, hosting/infrastructure providers and e-mail services we work with (under contractual safeguards)
  • Other cases where your explicit consent has been obtained

Your data is not transferred abroad without your explicit consent; however, where essential infrastructure providers such as hosting or cloud services are based abroad, the necessary measures are taken in line with Article 9 of the KVKK and the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board.

5. Method of Collection and Legal Basis for Processing

Your personal data is collected by automated or partly automated means through the forms on our website, e-mail correspondence, cookies and analytics tools. This processing is based on the legal grounds of the establishment/performance of a contract, legitimate interest, compliance with a legal obligation and explicit consent. 6. Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVKK

As a data subject, you may exercise the following rights by applying to Türkol:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed
  • To request information if your data has been processed
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
  • To learn the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom the data has been transferred
  • To request correction if the data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
  • To request erasure or destruction of the data within the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
  • To request that any correction or erasure be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred
  • To object to an outcome to your detriment arising from analysis of the processed data solely by automated systems
  • To claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing

7. How to Apply

To exercise the rights listed above, you may apply to info@turkol.com.tr . Your application will be concluded within 30 days at the latest. Türkol notes that, should your application be rejected, the response be found insufficient, or no response be given within the statutory period, you retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board.
